It is with great sadness that the family of Cora Faye Raley announces her passing after a brief illness, on Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013, at the age of 70 years.
Faye was a resident of Stapleton, a member of Bay Community Church, Malbis and employed at P&R Mining.
Most of all she was a devoted loving mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed, yet we know she is with the Lord.
She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Jack and Nova Nutt; and her father, Sterlie Wilson.
Survivors include sisters, Julia Wilson Shores of Navasota, Texas, Crystal Nutt Griffith of Prattville, Ala., Karen Kay Nutt of Loxley, Carolyn Nutt Jackson of Booneville, Mo. and Kristen Nutt Langston of Elberta; sons, Phillip Peed (Debbie) of Foley, Ray (Kathy) Peed of Gulf Shores, Raymond (Teresa) Peed of Stockton, AL and Paul (Julie) Peed of Stapleton; 12 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013 at Pine Rest Funeral Home in Foley, followed by a graveside service and interment at Pine Rest Memorial Park.
