Leigh Michelle Cooper and Mark Thomas Godfrey were united in marriage Oct. 17, 2009 at First Existentialist Congregation in Atlanta.
The Rev. Paul Clifton officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Joe and Cecelia Cooper of Trussville.
She is a graduate of Ooltewah High School, Ooltewah, Tenn., and Oglethorpe University. She is employed as a database coordinator at the Center for the Visually Impaired in Atlanta.
The bridegroom is the son of Tom and Cecile Godfrey of Fairhope.
He is agraduate of Fairhope High School and the Georgia Institute of Technology. He is lead engineer at ZOOZmobile in Atlanta.
The bride was given in marriage by friends and family.
Music for the ceremony was provided by wedding guests.
After a wedding trip to Portugal, the couple reside in Atlanta.
