Peggy Ann Coomer died Sunday, Oct. 26, 2008 at Joyce Goldenburg Covenant Hospice in Pensacola, Fla.
She was born in Glencoe, Ky., the daughter of B. W. and Edith Swango Norman. She lived the past 14 years in Orange Beach after retiring from the University of Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by granddaughter, Jessica Booker, great-granddaughter, Brittany Coomer, and Wheezie a beloved pet.
Survivors include two sons, Shawn (Nicky) Coomer and Jeff (Marilyn) Coomer; two daughters, Kimberly (Jim) Cartmell and Bonnie Aiken; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a beloved pet, Annie.
A memorial service for the family will be held at a later date.
