Posted

A convenience store operator recently bought a 23-acre parcel of land at the corner of US-98 and Mary Ann Beach Road in Fairhope's Barnwell area.

According to Crawford Stitt at White-Spunner Realty, the buyers paid $925,000 for the land. A representative for the realtor could not give the name of the company.

According to Baldwin County's tax map data, the undeveloped property, in part across from Hand in Hand Therapy and Tutoring, appears to be in county Planning District 17, an unincorporated, unzoned area outside city limits. Its land use is listed as crop.
