SUMMERDALE — Summerdale Police are seeking help from the public in locating whoever is responsible for dumping a truckload of used concrete blocks and additional refuse on Summerdale town property.

According to Summerdale Police Chief Eddie Ingram, the waste was dumped on property intersecting Davis and Couch Plant roads.

“The debris is from a recently remodeled or cleared site somewhere in our area,” he said in a news release, “and we are asking anyone with any possible information on who dumped the truckload of concrete to contact us immediately.”

He added that taxpayer dollars would have to be used to clean up the debris. In addition, criminal charges could be filed.

“We are going to prosecute the violators when they are located,” Ingram said.

Anyone with information regarding this issue is urged to call Summerdale Police at 251-747-0816.
