Meat With a Mission will host the 2026 BBQ Rib Fundraiser to benefit the Baldwin County Boys Ranch, a local organization that provides a safe and nurturing home for boys in need. The event is scheduled for Saturday, April 25, with drive-through pickup from 10:30 a.m. to noon at 21870 County Road 32 in Summerdale.
Each $40 order includes one rack of smoked ribs and one pint of homemade beans, prepared by the award-winning BBQ team. Organizers said every rack sold will help the ranch continue offering a structured and supportive environment for the boys. Tickets are available at www.zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/2026-bbq-rib-fundraiser-for-baldwin-county-boys-ranch.
Founded in 1984 on land donated by John B. Foley, the Baldwin County Boys Ranch campus includes multiple ranch homes, a chapel, gym, pool, office, two staff houses, a college home for residents and other support buildings. Boys attend local Summerdale schools and participate in sports, academic clubs, band and ROTC programs. Residents also attend church services on Sundays and Wednesdays.
Annual activities at the ranch include fishing and beach trips, concerts, campouts, church youth events including mission trips and cookouts. Organizers said the fundraiser offers the community a chance to enjoy some of the best BBQ in town while supporting a meaningful cause.
