Columbus Edgar “Ed” Sanders Jr., 86, a native of Lake Worth, Fla. and resident of Foley, died Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013.
Mr. Sanders is survived by his wife of 67 years, Margery Katherine Sanders; daughter, Sandra Kinney of Robertsdale; sons, Eddie Mac Sanders of Snellville, Ga. and Bob Sanders of Pensacola; six grandchildren, Brian, James, Jake, John, Nicole and Brenna; and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service officiated by Stuart Davidson of Eastern Shore Baptist Church will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013 from the chapel of Pine Rest Funeral Home in Foley.
The family suggests memorial contributions in Mr. Sander’s name to the American Cancer Society at donate.cancer.org.
