Cassey Peterson and Anthony Cobb of Gulf Shores, a daughter, Briannah Ocean Cobb, born at 12:05 p.m. Aug. 18, 2007 at South Baldwin Regional Medical Center, Foley.

The baby weighed 8 pounds, 3 ounces and measured 21 1/4 inches at birth.

Grandparents are Patricia and David Gay of Rosinton, Matt and Doris Cobb of Gulf Shores, Johnny Peterson of Foley and Tracy Peterson of Magnolia Springs. Great-grandparents are Betty and Lonnie Godwin of Rosinton, Mary Cobb of Loxley, Ralph Cobb of Mobile, Reba Gay of Heflin, and the late Walter Ray Harris. Great-great-grandparents are Addie Godwin of Loxley, Millie and Artemus Gay of Heflin, and the late Lonnie Godwin Sr.
