With Christmas behind us, anyone who received a new television or computer might be looking for a place to dispose of their old electronics. The Coastal Alabama Annual E-Cycling and Shred Day will take place Jan. 8 from 8 a.m. till noon at Gulf State Park Pavilion.
The Coastal Alabama Annual E-Cycling and Shred Day is for individuals who wish to dispose of their personal paper documents, such as tax information and returns, utility bills, credit card statements and other items. Electronic items such as televisions, computers, printers and vacuums can also be disposed of. Participants do not have to get out of their cars as volunteers will remove the items.
Each vehicle is limited to 50 pounds of shredding. Participants are asked to not tape or tie bags or boxes. Batteries should be removed from items before arrival.
This event is presented by the Coastal Alabama Business Chamber, cities of Gulf Shores and Orange Beach and Gulf State Park.
