Cletis Jay Ryan Sr., age 74, a resident of Little Lagoon Fishing Village, passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2017.
Mr. Ryan was preceded in death by his daughter, Edna Faye Bishop.
He is survived by three daughters, Coral Nan Gosa of North Carolina, Carolyn Yvonne Ryan of Elberta, Starla Ann Ryan Akram of Mobile; four sons, Jay Ryan Jr. of Foley, Clinton Allen Ryan of Gulf Shores, Toney William Ryan of Gulf Shores, Larry Edward Ryan of Robertsdale; two sisters, Doris Lee Southworth of Bon Secour, June Ester Nelson of Daphne; 22 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Lagoon Baptist Church, Gulf Shores.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow in Miller Memorial Cemetery, Gulf Shores, Alabama.
