Michael Thornton of Prattville and Angela Evans of Tallassee announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Clark of Foley, a former resident of Tallassee, to Jason James of Foley, the son of Marvin and Carol James of Foley.
The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Tallassee High School and attends the University of West Florida, majoring in public relations, minoring in marketing.
The prospective bridegroom is a 2002 graduate of First Assembly Christian of Robertsdale. He is a student at the University of West Florida majoring in telecommunication and film, minoring in marketing.
He is Web coordinator, staff writer for Gulf Coast Newspapers.
The couple will exchange vows at 6 p.m. Aug. 11, 2007 at Oyster Bay Baptist Church in Gulf Shores.
