Clarence Lloyd Wright

Clarence Lloyd Wright, 85, a native of Baltimore and a resident of Fairhope for the past 20 years, died Sunday, Sept. 12 at a local hospital.

He was a World War II POW veteran and a Purple Heart recipient, and a member of the Fairhope Wellness Center.

Survivors include his wife, June Wright of Fairhope; three sons, Eric Wright of Ridgeway, S.C., Mark Wright of Leesburg, Va., and Steven Wright of Ashburn, Va.; three daughters, Karen Wright of Marshall, VA., Sandra Hogg of Oak Hill, Va., and Lauren McGill of Fairfax, Va.; brother, Donald Wright of Bracey, Va.; 14 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

A private family service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are by Pine Rest Funeral Home Inc., Foley.
