Clara G. Petty, 95, a native of Florida and resident of Spanish Fort, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013.
She was a member of the Eastern Star. She retired after working more than 37 years for St. Regis Paper Co. in Cantonment, Fla.
Ms. Petty enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Ira Godwin; and is survived by two daughters, Sandra Myers of Foley and Loma Sue Smith of Chatom, Ala.; two sons, Terry Godwin Sr. of Robertsdale and Mike Petty of Perdue Hill, Ala.; 13 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013, from 3 until 5 p.m., at Mack Funeral Home in Robertsdale.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Covenant Hospice, 1040 Stanton Road, Daphne, AL 36526.
