Foley city offices will be closed on Monday, Jan. 15, in observance of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. The Holmes Medical Museum and Foley Depot Railroad Museum will, however, remain open during their regular hours from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday. The Foley Public Library will be closed on Monday as well. All city offices are set to reopen at their usual time on Tuesday, January 16.

The Foley City Council meeting, typically scheduled for the first and third Monday of each month, has been rescheduled to Tuesday, Jan. 16.

Recyclable materials, normally collected on Mondays, will be collected on Tuesday, Jan. 16. Pickups for the rest of the week will proceed as scheduled. Limb and yard debris collection will also resume on Tuesday. Residents are advised to be patient in case of delays as crews work to catch up with collection routes.
