We are devastated to announce Cindy Marie Nelson Blackwell, age 57, a resident of Foley, Alabama passed away Saturday, Jan. 7, 2023. Cindy passed in a tragedy, but she passed knowing she was loved by so many wonderful people.
Cindy was born on Sept. 24, 1965 to Sonny Nelson and Patsy Bishop Nelson. After Cindy graduated from Foley High School, she went on to do what she loved the most. Raising her three children, adventuring any chance she had, and working as a waitress where she acquired a huge work family who she loved dearly. Cindy was full of life and always knew how to make light out of any situation. She will be remembered as the loving, kind-hearted, generous woman she is.
Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, Patsy Bishop Nelson and Sonny Nelson, and her sister, Vicki Nelson. She is survived by her children, Bree (Danyal Satti) Blackwell, Cruise (Jerilyn) Blackwell, and Bay Blackwell; and her nephews Robert (Amy) Bullock and Johnny (Archie Javellana) Langham.
Cindy's celebration of life will be held on Sunday, January 15, 2023, at Anchor Point Church. We will receive friends and family at 2 pm and the service will begin at 3 pm.
