Lee Boyd Chunn, 68, a native of Monroe County, a longtime resident of the Mobile/ Theodore area and most recently a resident of Daphne, died Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2009.
He was a 1973 graduate of the University of West Florida.
He was a State Farm Insurance Agent in Theodore for 35 years before retiring in 2006.
He was also a dedicated Auburn football fan.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Dolores R. Chunn of Daphne; son, Brian (Laurie) Chunn of Daphne; daughters, Sherri (Troy) Goodman of Vestavia Hills, Dee-Dee (Tim) Beisel Bloomington, Ill.; grandchildren, Reilly, Collin and Trevor Chunn of Daphne, Clare and Ruby Goodman of Vestavia Hills, Cameron Beisel of Bloomington, Ill.; two brothers, his twin, T.L. “Buddy” Chunn of Rocky Hill, and Raymond (Marie) Chunn of Thomasville; three sisters, Willie (Tom) Cook of Huntsville, Barbara (Jack) Jenkins of Elberta and Shelby (Don) Jackson of Monroeville; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. with a memorial service at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 15 at Eastern Shore Baptist Church.
The family requests memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Eastern Shore Baptist Church, 6847 Park Drive, Daphne, AL 36526.
