Christina Armstead Ward, 75, a resident of Daphne, passed away Thursday, Aug. 29, 2013.
She is survived by her son, Matt R. Ward IV; daughter, Valencia W. Rainey; granddaughters, Chanel N. Fields, Shayla L. Rainey and Tiffani N. Kimball; grandson, Courtney B. (Monica) Fields; five great-grandchildren; sister, Mary A. Munnerlyn; brother, Matthew (Maldotha) Malone; goddaughters, Erika Y. Ford, Jasmine M. Jones and Jaleesa M. Jones; numerous nieces, many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held from Macedonia Baptist Church, Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013, at 11 a.m. Mrs. Ward will lie in state at the church from 10 a.m. until the service time.
Interment will follow in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.
