FAIRHOPE, Ala. — Page & Palette will host a children’s Earth Day Celebration on April 22. Beginning at 4 pm, the downtown Fairhope bookstore will have two special guests for this event for pre-kindergarten through 4th-grade students.

Local artist Ameri’ca Jones Gallaspy will present her new ecologically minded coloring book, “3 Little Mullet,” and each participant will be given a page of their own to color.  Gallaspy is the creator of the “Mullet Run” fountain, located at the Fairhope Museum of History.

The other presenter will be Hank Burch, the manager of the 5 Rivers Delta Resource Center, part of the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources.

He will present interesting facts about the Delta and will bring local animals for all to see.

There is no fee for students to attend this event, but reservations are required.

Phone the bookstore at (251) 928-5295 to reserve your child’s place.
