Charles Wayne Rollin Sr., 66, born in Hollierich, La. and a resident of Bay Minette, died at his residence Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2014.

He was a tugboat deckhand for Kimberly Clark Corp.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Linda Byrd (Shiver) Rollin of Bay Minette; his children, Charles Wayne Rollin Jr. of Mobile, Tina Alisha Rollin of Monroeville, Timothy Russell Rollin of Mississippi, Richard “Ricky” Byrd of Bay Minette, Patricia (Ronnie) Smith of Stapleton, Kellie (Randall) Phillips of Stapleton and Shellie Sutherland of Bay Minette; four brothers, Billy (Sandra) Rollin of Atmore; Frank (Linda) Rollin, James (Sheila) Rollin and Jimmy (Paula) Rollin, all of Bay Minette; two sisters, Irene Phelps of Stapleton and Glenda (Raymond) Nelson of Fairhope; 19 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Rollin Sr. and Lillie Mae Rollin; two grandsons, Steven Christopher Byrd and Christopher Blake Smith; and a great-granddaughter, Addyson Nicole Thompson.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 2, 2015, at 11 a.m., at Norris Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jimmy Dubose and the Rev. Lena Dubose officiating.

Burial will follow at Perdido Baptist Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday, Jan.1, 2015, from 6 until 9 p.m., at Norris Funeral Home.
