Charles Wayne Jerkins, 61, born in Spanish Fort and a resident of Bay Minette, died Thursday, Oct. 10, 2013 at Sea Breeze Nursing Home in Mobile.
He was a carpenter in residential construction.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Alice (Black) Jerkins of Bay Minette; one son, Jesse Wayne Jerkins of Bay Minette; four brothers, Kenneth (Shirley) Jerkins of Spanish Fort, Donnie (Joann) Jerkins of White House Fork, Michael (Christea) Jerkins of Mobile and Richard (Virginia) Jerkins of Robertsdale; and three sisters, Debra (Dale) Lowe of Chickasaw, Joanne (Bobby Pike) Moore of Spanish Fort and Pat (Chanlie) Faye of Kile, Miss.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Oct. 14, 2013, at 2 p.m., at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home, with Sister Helen Stewart and the Rev. Joe Welch officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Hills Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday, Oct. 14, 2013, from 11 a.m. until the 2 p.m. service at Norris Funeral Home.
