GULF SHORES, Ala. — Gulf Shores United Methodist Church (GSUMC) Chancel Choir presents its sixth annual “An Evening of Broadway” concert on Aug. 30, at 7 p.m., in the church sanctuary located at 1900 Gulf Shores Pkwy.

Admission is $5, and tickets are on sale at the church office.

Proceeds further the music ministry of GSUMC by providing the Baldwin County area with a variety of concerts annually.

Concerts featuring The Chancel Choir celebrate the birth of Christ at Christmas, celebrate Christ’s resurrection during Easter and celebrate the birth of our nation around July 4th.

Also, the music department provides wholesome entertainment through Christian comedians, artists from the Bill Gaither Homecoming groups and an extremely popular “Stained Glass, Blue Grass Concert.”

This event features local artists and attracts hundreds of southern Mississippi, Alabama and Florida residents, as well as hundreds of snowbirds.

GSUMC’s “An Evening of Broadway” features the Chancel Choir under the direction of their music minister, James Keith Posey, and features your favorite songs from well-known Broadway hits.

Everyone is invited to GSUMC concerts.

If you have questions, call the church office, (251) 968-2411.
