ROBERTSDALE, Ala. -- A crowd of hundreds attended the Central Baldwin Chamber of Commerce’s 10th annual “Flavors of the South” wine and food tasting event held Thursday, July 25 at the Baldwin County Coliseum in Robertsdale.

“The event is a premier showcase for local wine, beverage and restaurant locations, their chefs and culinary personalities,” said Chamber Executive Director Jamie Mangion.

Vendors for this year’s event were Budweiser-Busch Distributing, Burris Farm Market, Cain’s Piggly Wiggly Cost Plus, Cash Saver, Chad Stapleton Catering, Coca Cola Bottling Co., Derailed Diner, Goo Roo’s Grill, Ivey’s, LA BBQ, Magnolia Blossom Café, Mama Lou’s, Pizza Hut, Sam’s Club, South Baldwin Regional Medical Center, Starbucks, The Bake Shoppe Café, The Blake at Malbis, The Little Cake Shop, Vitolli’s Pizzeria, M&J and International Wines.

The event also featured a silent auction with a total of 86 items donated by local busineses. A 50/50 drawing was also held during the event and Jim Parker of Power Point Productions provided entertainment.

Baldwin EMC was the presenting sponsor for the event. Diamond sponsor was Cain’s Piggly Wiggly Cost Plus.

Gold sponsors were Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Inc., Budweiser-Busch Distributing Co., South Baldwin Regional Medical Center, the Baldwin County Cattle and Fair Association and Power Productions.

Silver sponsors were Gruenloh & Associates and Mack Funeral Home. Bronze sponsors are Franklin Primary Health Center, Citizens’ Bank, Advantage Business Solutions and Riviera Utilities.
