Cecil Wesley Hurley, 84, a native of Daphne and a resident of Fairhope, died peacefully at home, Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013.
Cecil was a retired U.S. Air Force SMSgt with more than 20 years of active service. He then retired as a teacher from the Baldwin County Board of Education.
Cecil called square dancing for 38 years with the Jubilee Squares in Fairhope, along with various other clubs.
Cecil was a member of the Greeno Masonic Lodge No. 598.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Carmelita S. Hurley; son, Michael E. Hurley; daughter, Karen H. (Mike) Willard, all of Fairhope; six grandchildren, David Willard, Perri (Jesse) Farlow, Becca (Aaron) Yuhas, Jessie (Daniel) Fuernrohr, Casey Willard and Katherine (Dakota) Nelson; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2013, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope.
Graveside services will follow in the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery at Spanish Fort at 11:30 a.m.
