Casino Night fundraiser set to bring high stakes fun back to Robertsdale

Posted

The Robertsdale Band Booster Club will bring its 3rd Annual Casino Night back to PZK Hall on March 14, 2026, offering an adults-only fundraiser built around games of chance, food, drinks and one of the area’s busiest silent auctions.

Doors open at 6 p.m. with games starting at 7 p.m.

The event has grown into a major spring tradition for supporters of the Robertsdale High School Golden Bear Band. Attendees receive complimentary beer, wine and hard seltzers along with heavy hors d’oeuvres and starter chips. VIP guests can upgrade for open bar service with spirits.

“Casino Night is honestly one of my favorite nights of the year,” said Valorey Salter, treasurer and director of fun for the Robertsdale Band Booster Club. “The energy in the room is electric! You've got people laughing at the tables, the silent auction bidding gets competitive in the best way, and everyone is just having the time of their lives all while supporting our amazing student musicians. It's a win-win-win!”

The silent auction features items and experiences contributed by local businesses and community partners. Bidders often pack the hall as the final minutes approach, a hallmark of the fundraiser’s growing popularity.

All proceeds support Robertsdale High School band programs, helping pay for instruments, uniforms, travel costs and educational opportunities that expand what the school can offer its student musicians.

The booster club is seeking sponsors and donations to round out the auction. Sponsors receive event recognition and placement in promotional materials.

“We're looking for exciting auction items. Everything from gift certificates and experiences to services and products,” Salter said. “Our community really shows up for this silent auction, and it's a fantastic opportunity for businesses to gain exposure while supporting local students.”

The Robertsdale Band Booster Club is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and donations may be tax deductible as allowed by law.

For sponsorships, donations or ticket information, contact Valorey Salter at (251) 223-2816 or info@robertsdalebandboosters.org or visit www.robertsdalebandboosters.org.

The booster club supports instrumental music programs across Robertsdale schools and uses events like Casino Night to provide resources that strengthen performance and education for Golden Bear Band students.
