A court appearance for Jeana Renea Gamble, a Fairhope woman who was arrested last month during a “No Kings” protest, has been rescheduled to March, her lawyer told Gulf Coast Media.
As previously reported by GCM, Gamble was attending a "No Kings" protest on Oct. 18, intended as a statement against the policies and actions of President Donald Trump and his administration. Gamble was seen wearing an inflatable costume shaped like male genitalia and was apprehended by police. Body cam footage of the incident was released in November.
Gamble was charged by police for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, both misdemeanors. Gamble’s lawyer, David Gespass, filed to dismiss the charges but was rejected by Municipal Judge Haymes Snedeker, who called the motion moot in his order.
The case was initially delayed to January to allow Gespass more time to prepare. Now, it has been rescheduled again due to a Fairhope attorney being out of town during the same time frame in January.
Gamble's first court appearance is now scheduled for March 4, 2026, at Fairhope Municipal Court.
