Carol Elaine Stanczak, 56, a lifelong resident of Fairhope, died Friday, Nov. 5, 2010 in Mobile.
She was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church of Fairhope.
Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Thomas L. Stanczak of Fairhope; daughter, Tabitha Stanczak of Fairhope; two sons, William (Rachael) Stanczak, Samuel Stanczak of Fairhope; sister, Rene Fuqua of Summerdale; brother, James (Kitty) Akins of Spanish Fort; one granddaughter, Gracie Stanczak of Fairhope; numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 9 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 10 from the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the University of South Alabama Office of Developement, c/o The Mitchell Cancer Institute, 307 University Blvd. N., TRP Building III Suite 2150, Mobile, AL 36688-0002.
