Michael L. Carney, 60, a native of Piqua, Ohio, a lifelong resident of Tampa, Fla., and a current resident of Fairhope died Wednesday, March 4, 2009.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth O. Carney and Beatrice Carney Alekonich.
Survivors include two sisters, Doris J. (Jim) Pritt of Fairhope and Joyce Alpers of Sioux Falls, S.D.; two nephews, Brian (Billie Rae) Pritt of Knoxville, Tenn., David (Carol) Alpers Jr. of Sioux Falls, S.D.; two nieces, Stephanie (Mike) Carey of Gahanna, Ohio, and Dawn Marie Anderson of Sioux Falls, S.D.; two aunts, Lucille Paskman of Springhill, Fla., and Kathleen Perkins of Columbus, Ohio; grand nieces, grand nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation begins at 1 p.m. with funeral services at 2 p.m. Monday, March 9 from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home.
