Carl Bryant Philyaw, 68, a native of Atmore and resident of Foley, died Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013.
Mr. Philyaw is survived by his brother, Joseph Philyaw of Watervliet, Mich.; sister, Carrie (Julius) Williamson of Foley; brother, John Philyaw of Foley; sister, Annie Ganey of Robertsdale; brother, Charles Philyaw of Foley; brother, Ray Philyaw of Foley; sister, Fay McCurdy of Foley; and sister, Frances Barnes of Florala, Ala.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013 at the chapel of Pine Rest Funeral Home in Foley, with interment to follow in Pine Rest Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from noon until 2 p.m., prior to the funeral service.
