Caraway selected as Loxley Elementary Teacher of the Year

LOXLEY, Alabama — Tracey Caraway is Loxley Elementary School’s Teacher of the Year.

Caraway (pictured, right with LES Principal Dr. DeAnn Ramey) is a special education teacher at Loxley who works with kindergarten and first grade.

She is a graduate of Auburn University where she received a degree in special education. She received a Master’s Degree in early childhood special education from Auburn University in Montgomery and a certification degree from the University of South Alabama in psychometry.

She is a member of the honor society Chi Sigma Iota. Caraway has been employed in Baldwin County Public Schools for four years. She has also taught in the Mountain Brook School system in Birmingham and the Houston County School System in Dothan. She also serves as her school’s public relations professional.
