Doyle Byrd, 59, a native of Stapleton and a resident of Silverhill, died Monday, May 24, 2010.
He served in the National Guard, loved to Karaoke and adored his grandkids.
Survivors include a daughter, Gayle Patterson of Robertsdale; three sons, Robert Doyle Byrd of Silverhill, Billy Byrd of Robertsdale and Richard Byrd of Silverhill; five sisters, Judy Freeland of Stapleton, Jean Melton of Stockton, Faye Henderson of Loxley, Gerri Deer of Robertsdale and Tammy Davis of Spanish Fort; three brothers, Buddy Byrd of Stapleton, Dennis Byrd of Daphne and Danny Byrd of Robertsdale; and seven grandchildren.
Graveside services and burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 27 at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Stapleton.
Arrangements are by Mack Funeral Home and Crematory, Robertsdale.
