Byer Alexander Peirce, age 73, of Elberta, passed away on Sept. 23, 2012.
Mr. Peirce was a retired United States Marine Corp. veteran serving his country for over 27 years. Also retirted from Riveria Utilities after 27 years. Member of the Foley Masonic Lodge and member Mobile Scottish rites. He is survived by his wife, Betty Jo Flirt Peirce of Elberta; one son, Byer A. "Zan" (Roxane) Peirce of Gulf Shores; grandchildren, Elaina, Natalie, Anna, Paige and Mason. The family asks that donations be made to the St. Paul's Episcopal Church Building Fund. A Memorial Service for Mr. Peirce will be held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church on Thursday Sept. 27,2012 at 1 p.m. The family will be receiving friends at the church from 12 until 1p.m. Arrangements By Cason Funeral Service, Foley.
