Willie Bell Salter Burt, 95, born in Evergreen and a resident of Bay Minette, died Saturday, April 5, 2008 at Oakwood North Baldwin Center for Living.
She was a welder at the ship yard during the war and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband Luther H. Burt.
Survivors include four sons, Clinton H. (Betty) Burt of Bay Minette, Calvin C. (Jeanette) Burt of Pine Grove, Herbert Hill Burt of Sun Valley, Nevada and Walter Wayne (Tina) Burt of Bay Minette; sister, Blanche Cater of Monroeville; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Graveside funeral services and burial were held Monday, April 7 at Bay Minette Cemetery with Minister Jerry Childs officiating.
Arrangements were made by Norris Funeral Home, Bay Minette.
