FOLEY, Ala. — Foley city officials have canceled the Beach Jam — an alternative means to enjoy the Jimmy Buffett concert — in Heritage Park in Foley due to a possible postponement of the concert to be this Thursday in Gulf Shores.
Currently city officials are meeting at Gulf Shores City Hall to discuss whether the concert will go on as scheduled.
Attempts to reach city officials have been unsuccessful.
However, Kim Chapman, public relations manager of the Alabama Gulf Coast Convention and Visitors Bureau, said nothing is set in stone yet.
"Keep trucking under the assumption the concert will go on. We are awaiting official confirmation," Chapman said at 4 p.m. Monday.
