Caitlin Alexandra Buemi, 16, a beautiful daughter and sister with a smile that could light up a room, died Sunday, March 7, 2010.
She was a junior at Foley High School having previously attended Gulf Shores High School. She was an A & B honor roll student. She was involved in Big Show Cheer and Dance, as well as a high school cheerleader. She played soccer and ran cross-country; she was also involved in Juniorettes, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and Allies at Gulf Shores High School.
She was a member of the varsity soccer team, FCA, and Allies at Foley High School. She worked at Blalock Seafood in Gulf Shores. She attended Christian Life Church with her family. She planned to attend the University of Alabama after graduation.
Survivors include her parents, Nicole and Tim Grady Jr., Willie and Michelle Philyaw; three brothers, Dalton Grady, Robbie Linck, and Wyatt Philyaw; two sisters, Carli Linck and Erin Grady; grandparents, Norma and Charles Buemi, Karen Grady, Tim Grady Sr. and Diane Grady, Cindy Philyaw, Peggy Sheffield and Earl Philyaw; many great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and godmothers.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 10 at at Christian Life Church, 25550 Canal Road, Orange Beach. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday March 11 at the church. Burial will follow at Pine Rest Memorial Park in Foley.
The family requests memorial donations be made to a memorial fund in her name at Regions Bank in Foley.
