Amy Marie Bryars and Joseph Myles Hill, both of Bay Minette, were united in marriage Saturday, April 21, 2007 at the First Baptist Church of Bay Minette. The Rev. Jimmy Dukes officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Rudolph Bryars of Bay Minette. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lester James Hinote and the late Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Hoyt Bryars of Bay Minette.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Moore Hill of Bay Minette and the grandson of the late Billie Jean Hill and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Linam.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Dusty Franklin Smith was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Jessica Leigh Bryars and Kayla Joy Bryars, sisters of the bride, Whitney Elise Gibson, the bride’s cousin, Renee Robertson Hall, Jennifer Lyles Kendrick, Katherine Ellen McDonald, all of Bay Minette, Amy Lee Peacock of Stockton, and Ashley Howell Lathan of Fairhope.

David Moore Hill, father of the bridegroom, of Bay Minette was best man. Groomsmen were Christopher David Hill and Charles Daniel Hill, brothers of the bridegroom, Lucas Hunter Hall, Joshua Luke Kendrick, Jesse Myles Reed, Matthew Shawn Stevens, Thomas William Mitchell II, all of Bay Minette; and John Coleman Bryars of Orange Beach.

Kenzie Gohagen served as flower girl. Ring bearers were Thomas and Cooper Stewart.

Special music was provided by Delores Lyles, pianist, and Sandra Brock, soloist.

A reception followed at the John F. Rhodes Civic Center in Bay Minette. After a honeymoon trip to Costa Rica, the couple will reside in Bay Minette.
