Bruce Eady, age 75, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012 in Bay Minette.
Eady was a native of Rabun, and a resident of Splinterhill, for the past 50 years. Eady retired from Hartley Marine in 1981. He is preceded in death by his wife, Delores Eady; parents, Bud and Nettie Eady, two brothers, Buddy and Hubert Eady and a sister, Melba Parker. Survivors include his son, Darren Eady of Perdido; one brother, Richard Eady of Rabun, and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012 at 2 p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Sis. Thursa Long officiating. Burial will follow at the Bryars-McGill Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Jeff Parker, Shane Parker, Rodney Howell, Alan Howell, Duane Eady, Joey Eady and Tony Bailey. Honorary Pallbearers will be Charles Ferrell, Lyn Burg Ferrell, Hubert Harville and Lamar Hadley. Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes, LLC in charge of arrangements of Atmore.
