Mr. and Mrs. Thomas E. Brown of Leroy announce the engagement of their daughter, Allison Faye Brown, to Craig Maxwell Faircloth, son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald A. Faircloth of Montrose.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Ruby B. Wimberley of Jackson and the late C. Elmore Brown, Richard L. Harrell, Alice and Dennie Harrell.

She is a 2002 graduate of Jackson High School, received a bachelor of science degree in restaurant and hospitality management and business with a concentration in event planning from the University of Alabama in 2006. While attending UA, she was a member of several honor societies and graduated cum laude. She is employed with the Grand Hotel Marriott Resort in Point Clear as an events operations manager.

The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. William M. Faircloth Sr. of Mobile and Janice P. Maxwell of Hartselle and the late Homer B. Maxwell Jr.

He is a 2002 graduate of Fairhope High School, attended Auburn University and is attending the University of South Alabama, pursuing a bachelor of science degree in marketing. He is also employed with the Grand Hotel Marriott Resort.

The couple will exchange vows at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, June 16, 2007 at The Bluff overlooking Fairhope Pier. A reception will follow at the Eastern Shore Art Center in Fairhope.

Family and friends are invited to attend.
