Gulf Shores High School's Make Waves Theatre will host Broadway veteran Chuck Wagner on March 14, at 7 p.m. at the Gulf Shores Cultural Center.

Wagner has starred in numerous Broadway and touring productions, including Athos in "The Three Musketeers," Rapunzel's Prince in "Into the Woods," Inspector Javert in "Les Misérables," the Beast in Disney's "Beauty and the Beast," Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde in "Jekyll and Hyde," General Harrison Howell in "Kiss Me Kate," and Dracula, Van Helsing, and Quincey Morris in "Dracula: The Musical." He also sang the role of Sir Percival Blakeney, also known as The Scarlet Pimpernel, in the original concept recording of "The Scarlet Pimpernel."

On March 14, Wagner will spend the morning teaching a masterclass and rehearsing with Gulf Shores High students as they prepare for their upcoming production of "Into the Woods." That evening, he will perform in a fundraiser concert alongside the cast.

"Please join us for a night of Broadway music," the school said in a news release.
