Samuel “Sammie” W. Brannan, 76, a native of Josephine and a resident of Robertsdale, died Saturday, July 17, 2010.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Naomi Brannan of Robertsdale; three sons, Eugene Brannan of Decatur, Dwayne (Cindy) Brannan of Silverhill and Lester (Laverne) Brannan of Foley; two sisters, Gayle Meyers of Elberta and Docia McKean of Newport News, Va.; brother, Thomas W. Brannan Jr. of Miami; three grandchildren, Jessica, Rebekah and Austin Brannan, all of Foley; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Monday, July 19 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Robertsdale with Marc Whedbee officiating.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the Robertsdale Congregation of the Jehovah’s Witnesses P.O. Box 2641 Robertsdale, AL 36567.
Arrangements were made by Mack Funeral Home and Crematory, Robertsdale.
