Brandie Lynn Traughber, 40, a resident of Foley, died Friday, Feb. 18, 2011, at South Baldwin Regional Medical Center after a freak accident that occurred Sunday, Feb. 13.
She was born July 1, 1970 to Barry and Evelyn Wyman in Stark, Fla.
She was a behavior analyst with a master’s degree in special education from the University of West Florida. She was very passionate about her work with autistic children, her whole life revolved around them. She loved being outdoors, gardening, and swimming at the river.
Survivors include two sons Kyle and Jacob Merchant; her husband of four months, Chris Traughber; two brothers, twin Barry Wyman and Eric Wyman; two sisters, Julie Shiver and Sharon Wyman; uncle George and aunt Sally; and her loving dog, Clyde.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 23 at Pine Rest Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Merchant Cemetery in Lillian.
