Amy Garrett Brackbill, 68, a native of Pensacola, Fla., and resident of Loxley, died Saturday, May 3, 2008.
She was a member of the Loxley First Baptist Church and the Loxley Quilt Club.
Survivors include her husband, Harold Brackbill of Loxley; two daughters, Lori Ellen (David) Lawrence of Pensacola, Fla., and Jenell Alice Byrd of Stapleton; son, William Harold (Connie) Brackbill of Atlanta; two sisters, Helen Norris of Pensacola, Fla., and Thelma Lanton of Fairhope; and eight grandchildren, Shelsie and Brian Lawrence, Justin, Jessica and Aaron Byrd, Courtney, Lauren and Meredith Brackbill.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 7 at Loxley First Baptist Church. Burial followed at Beulah Community Cemetery in Beulah, Fla.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Loxley First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 114, Loxley, AL 63551 or to the American Cancer Society, 19059 Greeno Road, Suite A, Fairhope, AL 36532.
Arrangements were made by Mack Funeral Home and Crematory, Robertsdale.
