Tate Publishing and Enterprises is proud to announce the release of the new book Gypsy Carousel by Fairhope author Pat Marshall Peacock.

Peacock will sign copies of her book at Barnes & Noble, 30500 State Highway 181 in Spanish Fort Saturday, May 12, from 4–6 p.m.

Gypsy Carousel is a fictional tale of a young Southern family shortly after the Great Depression and World War II. It reveals the extreme hardships that the family encounters as well as the triumphs and personal goals they achieved.

From prison-break fears to gypsy camp visits, they had to be ready to respond.

According to Terry Cordingley, marketing representative for Tate Publishing and Enterprises, “We are proud to present Gypsy Carousel. The story does a great job of depicting Southern life and culture during a very difficult time for our country.”

Peacock worked for several major financial institutions in California, Colorado, Texas and Alabama before pursuing her goal of writing novels.

She and her husband, Ed, live in Fairhope.

From the start, as news editor of her high school newspaper, she knew her passion was reporting and writing stories.

Now, many creative writing classes and years later, her dreams are a reality with this fictional novel.

The book may be purchased nationwide from any bookstore, or online through several Web sites, including amazon.com and walmart.com, or you may e-mail orders@tatepublishing.com to order the book.
