Blue Angels release revised practice schedule

Located aboard Naval Air Station Pensacola, the National Museum of Naval Aviation is proud to share a home with the U.S. Navy’s Blue Angels flight demonstration team. During the 2007 season, The Blue Angels will perform practice air shows over Naval Air Station Pensacola.

In addition, following some of the Wednesday practices, there will be an autograph session with the pilots inside the National Museum of Naval Aviation. Admission to the Blue Angel practices is free and open to the public.

The viewing area for the Blue Angels practice is located behind the National Museum of Naval Aviation. The museum has recently doubled seating for the viewings in order to accommodate over 1,000 spectators in the bleachers.

2007 Blue Angel Practice Schedule at NAS Pensacola:

• Jul 24

• Aug. 14, 15, 21, 22, 28, 29

• Sept. 4, 5, 11, 12, 18, 19, 25

• Oct. 23, 24, 30, 31

• Nov. 6, 7

Practices begin at 8:30 a.m.

2007 Blue Angel Autograph Session Schedule at the National Museum of Naval Aviation:

• Aug. 15, 22, 29

• Sept. 5, 12, 19

• Oct. 24, 31

Blue Angel practices are scheduled to change without notice due to weather conditions, flight operations or other unforeseen events.

Visitors to NAS Pensacola are reminded to use the Blue Angel Parkway entrance.

For those who can’t wait to see the Blue Angels, the museum is open seven days a week, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and admission is always free.
