Cynthia Inez Hansen Blount, 79, a native of Mobile and a resident of Bay Minette, died Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2007 at Thomas Hospital in Fairhope.
She was a homemaker and a substitute school teacher with the Baldwin County School Board. She was a member of D.A.R. - Zachariah Godbold Chapter and a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Bay Minette.
Survivors include her husband, Paul Blount of Bay Minette; four children, Paula (David) Dabney and Cynthia (Kenny) McLaughlin, all of Bay Minette, Marsha (Faron) Hollinger of Spanish Fort and Brian (Sonja) Blount of Fairhope; eight grandchildren, Christopher Dabney, Jason Dabney, Eric McLaughlin, Douglas McLaughlin, Jeremy Hollinger, Jonathan Hollinger, Breana Blount and Jared Blount; and three great-grandchildren; Christian Dabney, Kayla McLaughlin and Jackson Hollinger.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 29 at the First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Keith Cardwell officiating. Burial will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Christopher Dabney, Jason Dabney, Jeremy Hollinger, Jonathan Hollinger, Jared Blount, Eric McLaughlin and Douglas McLaughlin.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the First Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 1508, Bay Minette, AL 36507.
