The Jubilee Shopping Center in Daphne will soon offer a new dining option, as Big Potato Company prepares to open its doors.

If Big Potato Company sounds familiar, it might be because of its Foley location. The Daphne branch will mark the brand’s fifth store.

The brand is known for its large baked potatoes topped with a variety of toppings. The menu at Big Potato Company is loaded with variety offering potatoes topped with everything from bacon and cheddar to lobster or Japanese crab. For those not craving a spud, they also offer a full sandwich menu offering everything from pulled pork to a bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich with pimento cheese on sourdough bread.

The brand got its start in 2017 in a Texaco convenience store in Greenville, Alabama. Since then, the brand has grown to open locations in Centerville, Monroeville and opened in Foley in 2022. 

While the opening date for the Daphne location remains undisclosed, the establishment has indicated that it will debut sometime in February.
