Betty Boyett Jowers, age 68, born in Opp, and a resident of Bay Minette, died Monday, July 9, 2012 at West Florida Hospital in Pensacola.
She is survived by her son, Eric Jowers of Bay Minette; two grandsons, Trace Jowers and Dalton Jowers; one brother, Fred Boyett of Opp, and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Dora Lee Boyett, two sisters, Etoyel Taylor and Helen Stewart and two brothers, Leo Boyett and Harold Boyett. A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 28, 2012 at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home in Bay Minette. The family will receive friends Saturday, July 28, 2012 from 1 p.m. until the 2 p.m. service at Norris Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to Covenant Hospice, 1040 Stanton Road, Suite D, Daphne, AL 36526.
