The Foley Public Library will welcome back USA Today bestselling author Colleen Coble later this month as she returns to meet readers and discuss her newest novel.
Coble will appear Friday, March 27, at 5:30 p.m. at the library. The event gives readers and fans an opportunity to meet the acclaimed author, hear about her writing journey and learn more about her latest release, “When Justice Comes,” which is set in the local area.
Coble visited the Foley Public Library last year and drew interest from fans of her popular Christian fiction and romantic suspense novels. Foley Mayor Ralph Hellmich presented Coble with the key to the city during last year's events.
She is widely known for several bestselling series, including “Rock Harbor,” “Sanctuary” and “Pelican Harbor.” With millions of books in print and multiple awards to her name, Coble’s suspense-driven storytelling has built a large international readership.
“When Justice Comes,” continues her tradition of blending romance, mystery and faith-based themes while drawing inspiration from the Gulf Coast setting familiar to many local readers.
Library officials say the event is designed to give attendees insight into Coble’s creative process while also offering a chance for readers to connect with the author behind some of their favorite novels.
The program is free and open to the public, though attendees are asked to reserve a spot in advance.
For more information or to reserve a seat, contact the Foley Public Library at (251) 943-7665 or visit www.foleylibrary.org.
