Velma J. Bemis, 74, a native of Biloxi, Miss., and a resident of Bon Secour, died Thursday, May 10, 2007.
She was a long time member of Faith Tabernacle.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. "Bunky" Bemis.
Survivors include two sons, Denny R. (Debbie) Bemis and Bruce A. (Cindy) Bemis, both of Bon Secour; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Gaynel Richerson and Edna Taylor, both of Bon Secour.
Visitation will be held at 11 a.m. followed by services at 1 p.m. Monday, May 14 from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley with the Rev. J.B. Sims officiating.
Arrangements are by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., Foley.
