Ina Mae Herron Becker, 92, a native of Eldridge, a long time resident of Bay Minette and a resident of Montgomery, died Thursday, Dec. 10, 2009 at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery.
She worked for the tax assessor’s office in Baldwin County for 42 years and 12 of those years as the tax assessor.
Survivors include a son, Don Becker of Bay Minette; daughter, Judge Mary Becker (Steve) Windom of Alexander City; four grandchildren, Claire Becker and Bill Becker of Atlanta, Robert (Lauren) Windom of Los Angeles, and Thomas (Jen) Windom of Washington, D.C.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 12 from the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Minister Billy Lambert officiating. Burial followed at the Bay Minette Cemetery.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the Bay Minette Church of Christ, 12 West Pine Street, Bay Minette, AL 36507.
