Beatrice E. Steele, 90, a native of Chicago and a resident of Fairhope, passed away, Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2013.
Beatrice was preceded in death by her husband, Ira N. Steele; grandson, David Louis Cohen; and sister, Evelyn M. Caldwell.
She is survived by daughters, Kathryn Steele Wiles (Louis) and Andrea Steele Rhodes (Jim) all of Fairhope; grandchildren, Christina Rhodes, Michelle Cohen and Shannan Drummond (Bill); great-grandchildren, Laura, Gwendolyn, Jeanne Cohen, Michael and Sean Drummond; sister, Diana Jones of Spanish Fort; a nephew, Butch Caldwell of Beaumont, Texas; and a dear friend, Francine Valrie Carter.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Sept. 13, 2013, at 2 p.m., from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
Interment will follow in Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
